People all over the Central Valley are wearing masks, and for good reason: They want to get back to school, back to work, back to normal. They want to protect loved ones, neighbors, and frontline workers.

The Central Valley Community Foundation salutes those people and is surprising 400 unsuspecting mask-wearers with a MaskUpCV Reward Card – a $100 Visa gift card to say thank you for wearing a mask!

Getting a little vulnerable here.
I’m working with fresnobarriosunidos fwxjoseph quiero_mi_arte choose.lisa to create some comics that express some of the experiences we have run into during the pandemic – I decided to start off this series with my own story because how can I expect you all to open up about what struggles you’re going through if I don’t do the same?
I will be illustrating other peoples’ anonymous stories, both big and small, to hopefully help us all feel validated in our feelings during these times. ❤️ #maskupfresno #maskup #maskupCV #covid_19
